"My two boys were lucky enough to be a part of this summer's Camp Carpe Diem with Madame Finotti. Where most day camps just exist to get the kids out of mom and dads' hair for the day, Camp Carpe Diem kept my active boys calm and happy for an entire week. They came home each day with love and excitement in their hearts and something to talk about. I can't wait till next year's camp." Dan LaRocque.

Us Three Yoga, By Bonita Finotti

Mission Statement

It is my intention to provide an opportunity for our children to come together and celebrate their natural gifts for seeing, feeling and leading our world. Through the exploration of the arts, the soul and the capacity of our physical bodies, we mentor children to tap into their innate talents and their mission here on Earth.

Bonita Finotti, Us 3 Yoga Camp 08Our summer gatherings are offered in a natural and open environment with many bilingual teachers who are well versed in the study of Indigo children, art therapy, drumming, dancing, yoga and meditation.

Our participants are guided as they learn, compare and understand our natural world. With a focus on nature, animals and people, they witness the common source of the energy that unites all three.

History of Us 3 Yoga

"Let there be peace on Earth, Let it begin with me." Gandhi

My life in camps began when I was a youngster. My immigrant father sent my older sister to friends and placed my younger sister and I in YMCA camps for entire summers. By the end of each summer, my sister and I were running the camps, organizing outings and activities. My desire to learn, grow and mentor began with my sisters. We were 3 tough chicks.

I graduated from Faculté St. Jean University in the French Immersion program. Destiny allowed me, at last, to make a contribution to the world that had been so kind to me. There were so many in my world, many worth mentioning here, however a couple lesson stands out. One of my friend’s mom sent a monthly cheque as I finished my education. She believed in me and she told me to pay it forward. Thank you for your support and lessons, Ruth.

I was a dreamer and could easily visualize events in life before they happened … a blessed skill I share with an infinite number of other indigo children. Teaching in the public school system has taught me about selective compliance, stretching the limits of the curriculum and loopholes. I continued to believe there was more. I am grateful to the teachers, leaders and mostly grateful to the children who fed me the knowledge and inspiration to follow my destiny and create us3yoga and camp carpe diem.

I kept listening to this voice as I progressed through university, followed my bliss and moved to the island to begin my 15 year career as a teacher. My voice said there would be teachers to guide you. At my first long-term contract school, I found my teachers. I was extremely fortunate to spend many learning moments with my blessed late friend Isabella and her daughter, Maya Lune. They were among some of my best teachers and showed me the doors of knowledge, sacred wisdom and love. This venture is dedicated to you two as well!

My first camp was the summer of 2008. We did yoga, shared, played, danced, meditated, colored mandalas, painted, made hoola hoops and drummed. We were blessed to have 5 beautiful acres in the middle of a forest. I am grateful for that opportunity and for all the people that believed in our idea of creating this venue for children. Your kindness, encouragement and beliefs fed the dream. Namaste!

We thought that something more could be done ....
We decided that something else could be created .....
We knew something greater could be found within each of us,.
and shared for all of us. .
